"This might be the most lopsided trade we've seen this offseason without Bill O'Brien being involved."

Yes, a big part of making a playoff run is health and our luck has run out in that respect. Overachieving season on the whole given the talent level but it's all but over now. A win next week or on the road at the 3 or 4 seed will be a pleasant surprise
Some of those could be afternoon games (4:05 or 4:25pm ET) or Sunday night games.
The Giants game is in late October and the Jacksonville game in December, so no, not 3 of the first 4 nor 4 out of the first 7 at 10am.
So far the following have been leaked (who knows how accurate they are):
9/10 @ Green Bay
9/17 vs San Francisco
9/24 @ Tennessee
10/22 @ NY Giants
11/20 vs Atlanta (MNF)
12/3 vs Philadelphia
12/10 @ Jacksonville
I believe we lost to the Packers in week 2 back in '15 and then in mid--December this past season, so we're equal opportunity losers at Lambeau.
The Sounders have Sunday home games week 1 (Sept 10th) and then October 15th and 22nd. Thus, those are all likely road weeks or a bye, unless they...
Minnesota is still alive in the NFC North but I didn't include them because they still play at Green Bay and would lose the tiebreaker with Detroit. Minny would need to go 3-0 and the Lions 0-3 for the Vikings to win it. GB is most likely division winner in light of Detroit's schedule and...
Yes, it's a bit early for this but with the division likely within reach our future schedule is starting to take shape:
Road
Jacksonville
Tennessee
Dallas
NY Giants
NFC North winner (Green Bay/Detroit)
Arizona
Los Angeles
San Francisco
Home
Indianapolis
Houston
Philadelphia...
...in regulation. All 3 against mediocre or poor teams (LA, Arizona and Tampa).
Better secure the #2 seed as we aren't exactly on fire on the road this year.
As I was laying in bed last night thinking about football (what else?) I pondered how our playoff path might have been different had we beaten St. Louis at home in week 16 and secured the 5th seed.
Here is a comparison of that scenario (5 seed) with the one we ended up with (6 seed):
6th Seed...
Irvin - gone
Lynch - gone
Okung - gone...someone will overpay plus he's negotiating his own contract
Kam - possibly gone if Hawks don't renegotiate deal and have to settle for a trade
Sweezy - should be gone but Cable loves him and no one else should pay much for him
Mebane - gone at that...
