    Wrong cleats

Do the players on the opposing team not get an opportunity to test out of the field with their cleats before the start of the game? I thought it was odd that so many of the Seahawks players seem to be slipping around on the turf during that first half. It was like they were trying to play...

Build the offensive line like they built the L.O.B.

That is, through the draft. The most consistent players in our league-leading secondary were drafted and then developed starting in their rookie seasons. It takes time and patience to find and groom the right fits for our secondary. This is too how we should be building the offensive line...

    OT Germain Ifedi Highlights

Wow . . . this guy is an impressive looking specimen. 6'5, 325 with long arms, agile feet, and a powerful build, not a lot of fat on him. Reminds me of Dallas LT Tyron Smith, who (like Ifedi) played RT in college for three years. Actually, he reminds me a little of our very own Russell Okung...

Check out the blocking on Lockett's kick return in 2nd half

Lockett reads his blockers really well. Jeanpiere does a nice job sealing off his man. But Jordan Hill PANCAKES Panthers SS Colin Jones, putting him flat on his back. Also a nice job by Shead to help create the crease for Lockett. That block by Hill kind of set the tone for our 24-0 2nd half.

Seahawks who are 30 years and younger

"We're far from done," cornerback Richard Sherman said, "Guys are just entering the prime of their careers. We can be special for a long time. "I think people get confused sometimes and think our quarterback is 38. He's 27, not 38. Bobby Wagner is 25. We've got a young core. I think people...

A lot of teams would have folded

Proud of the guys for competing until the end. That takes guts. The Seahawks have not lost by more than 10 points since October 30, 2011. That is a record 83-consecutive games and counting. We're not always going to come out on the winning end, but this team can keep their heads held high...

    Post-season DVOA: Seahawks #1

"Kansas City ended up with 123.4% DVOA in the 30-0 win. That ends up as the biggest single-game DVOA of the year, surpassing the 115.7% DVOA Seattle had in its Week 17 stomping of Arizona." http://www.footballoutsiders.com/dvoa-r ... oa-ratings

    Seahawks-Panthers History

The Seahawks and Panthers have faced one another ten times in their history with the Seahawks leading the series, 7-3. The first matchup was in 2000 with the Panthers prevailing, 26-3. Brock Huard started at QB for the Seahawks and had an unassuming, if ineffective, game. Pete Carroll is...
