Pete caused the Adams fiasco from the start

Exactly! An edge rusher,,,,,,what the team truly needed when draft picks got squandered on a safety.

Pete caused the Adams fiasco from the start

Did you like the trade when it happened BASF? Two 1st rounders for a safety? I mean, it would have to be in Ronnie Lott/Ed Reed territory (which he clearly wasn't) before I would even remotely consider it and would still probably pass.

Pete caused the Adams fiasco from the start

I've thought about this a lot Hawk and I believe ours and Pete's expectations may have been too lofty. While i'll never agree with the price they paid for the trade, I do understand the thought behind it. Pete needed some pass rush, a lumber layer, and a field general safety combination...

Pete caused the Adams fiasco from the start

Thanks Gem. I was expecting something on the lines of - 'Of course you would. You complain about everything'. LOL. You wouldn't be far off if you had said that.

Pete caused the Adams fiasco from the start

I would have. No safety is worth two 1st rounders.

    Seahawks full schedule leak

The football Gods disagree. The Rams gave the Hawks fits even when Fisher was there.

Pete caused the Adams fiasco from the start

You can call it reckless, i'll call it something else.

Pete caused the Adams fiasco from the start

The problem was that he could have stayed healthy and they still gave to much for him. Everybody brings up the sacks, but seem to forget that the defense was being torched when they happened. It was an absolute travesty to depend on a safety for the pass rush, leaving the secondary short...

    Seahawks full schedule leak

If it's true, looks fairly easy.

    Steve Hutchinson?

People hate Hutch because they crave team loyalty. Team loyalty went out the window with the salary cap. It's a business. How can anybody blame any player for trying to better himself salary wise?

    Dremont Jones switching to EDGE/OLB?

Maybe if he played better, it wouldn't have been one of the worst defenses.

And I admit that I could totally be wrong about him. I'm just going off of my feelings and opinions too. I also hope he turns out to be something special.

Yeah, the time and numbers work out in hindsight, but your right about PC. I understand both sides. Man, would have been nice though if Jackson was waiting in the wings while signing Wilson to a shorter contract at the time. Oh well.

A higher draft pick certainly helps. I'm making my assessment from last season, his college career, and where he was drafted. Could he work out? Sure. Will he? Doubtful. I'm aware that Washington was bad. When Seattle beat them last season there were people on here raving about the win...

    Best draft in years

Fair, but I think every SB winning team excels somewhere and it isn't just balance. The 2005 team ran at teams with Alexander and the line and there wasn't anything opposing teams could do about it. The 2013-14 teams were stacked everywhere so I can't point at one area although I guess it...

    Best draft in years

I'm sure your probably right and I agree that we don't actually know if Howell will progress (i'm not feeling it), but i'm just worried their going to have to go through drastic measures eventually to find a good QB. I have no confidence in Smith or Howell to take the team deep into the post...

OK lets just forget about Lamar Jackson, but don't you agree the Hawks are pretty much backed into a corner with the QB situation?

    Best draft in years

Preparing for the future makes no sense? By ignoring it the team now finds itself without any franchise QB and a huge problem moving forward. Their options to obtain one now are- Suck really bad to get a good draft pick Pray a later round QB hits which is rare Trade away future picks for a...

    Best draft in years

I get it and i'm not arguing it's just that i'm pointing out there were opportunities to address a QBotF while some say there wasn't. Regardless of the who's and when's, Seattle needs to address the issue soon, and it is an issue.

Why don't you? It's not like he was the number 1 pick or anything. A couple of years sitting behind Russ would have been great.
