This was kind of a depressing video to watch, but I heard several sources talking about all the Bills fans at the game.

No Mariners always look like they are something then collapse in July or August, we were the Major League farm system for 20 years or so, kind of still are.

It was so demoralizing to hear Geno say it sounded like a road game at times. Sad day.

Meh it went when we lost our 2nd SB and tickets became unaffordable when they kept going up up up.. throw in all the other fees it’s laughable now for a large majority of fans that were attending. For some it’s a chance to make their money back plus profit for others it’s just not realistic to spend that kind of money when it could be spent elsewhere or put to better use

Football, If im attending I’m not chilling up in the nose bleeds thats still kind of priced high when i can get a better view from home on my TV with better food .. cheaper and better and cheaper drinks lol.

Home-field advantage is something about which I try not to think too much, because when you look at it carefully, the inescapable conclusion is that home-field advantage would disappear if the refs were all robots.

It doesn't come from "sleeping in your own bed" or "eating home-cooked meals," nor from psyching up the home team or psyching out the visitors. It comes from refs being influenced by the crowd and making friendlier calls for the home team. It's a depressing thought, but the analysis is solid.

The first time I saw the analysis, two entire chapters of the book Scorecasting: The Hidden Influences Behind How Sports Are Played and Games Are Won, it made me really sad and I really wanted to find a big flaw in the authors' reasoning. Spoiler: I didn't.
The first of those two chapters, "Comforts of Home," goes into detail about the strength and consistency of home-field advantage in major pro and college sports, then takes apart popular explanations of home-field advantage and shows that none of them, nor even any set of them, comes even close to explaining the observed effect on W-L records. The second of those chapters, "So what Is Driving the Home Field [sic] Advantage?" shows pretty convincingly that even if it's completely unconscious, refs tend to give more-favorable treatment to the home team, and the result is easily enough to explain the home-field advantage in W-L records.

Last 38 homes games, we are 19-19.

If I recall correctly.

But wait, it left with Pete :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
That was a pretty good one, I must say. 19-19, most of those with Pete as the coach. It has been gone for YEARS.

The home field advantage has been gone for years now. My buddy and I were floored by how many Bills fans there were. It can still get loud for sure but it’s nothing like it was 10 years ago. End of a Golden Era for sure.

Sad.
