I wonder.
If we had to choose between Milroe & Sanders at #50, who people would pick?

I really hope Sanders is drafted the very first pick of Day 2 so this nonsensical talk of him being on the Hawks will end.

First off, how much of a distraction a pouty Sanders (who won't be starting right away) would be?

That's not to mention his old man will be critical of the team after every bad play, loss, etc.

Also, what kind of message would it send to Darnold if they did what some here are wanting them to do in acquiring Shedeur?

It would be like the Hawks are telling him : "Yeah man...we trust you...." and then a few seconds later "On second thought, man...we don't trust you....Get out!".

jesus...

I was hoping the Giants would take him, Sanders, Me3 and Deion all in New York, what could go wrong, be like King Kong atop the Empire State Building, you can't look away.

Yeah, we've never tried competition at quarterback before.

Sanders, and it's not close for me. I think Sanders could actually be a good QB in the NFL. I very much doubt that Milroe ever will be, and I think it's very likely that his career trajectory (and passing numbers) will be very similar to Anthony Richardson's career trajectory which isn't looking great right now.

That said, if they want a QB in this draft, I'd much rather get one of the day 3 guys (like Ewers or McCord) than spend a 2nd or 3rd on either Sanders or Milroe.

The pick of Zabel makes today fascinating. The team could go in any direction, including double dipping at guard. My prediction is that whatever JS does, it pisses off most of the posters here on dot net.

Should be fun to watch (and read).

Pete isn't the GM, but the guy who is made a dumb pick with an absurdly overrated RB in the top 10. Giving them Shadeur would really redeem him. It'd be like how everyone forgets how much of a JAG Bruce Irvin was since we hit on Russell Wilson.

And BWags. We could have had Chandler Jones instead of Irvin. But that is still the all time best Seahawks draft just from those 2 players.

Or maybe Sanders is just massively overhyped? Not one team in the league took him in round 1. That speaks volumes.
