Earl was always an interview wild card, kind of like Ricky Henderson was in baseball. You never knew what kind of answer he was going to throw out there that made you scratch your head. Hard to say from that interview if it's the same old Earl or if it is in fact CTE.

Something I'll probably get flamed for - but I always thought it was very weird. It was at his wedding before she became a hotel storming gun-totin' cheater shooting wife - Here's a link to it. Most of the pictures are now busted apparently. I SWEAR there was a pic with him, with the crown, the cape, and a purple scepter.

Not the end of the world - at the time I was just like: "something wrong with this dude"

Ahhh....yeah. I won't flame you, cuz, first, I don't remember the FIRST or LAST time I gave a shit about what someone wore to THEIR wedding. Let alone expect to/want to hear it brought up a decade plus later in a post career interview.

God Bless you, brother Earl! (if you're reading this). We all do some wild shit in our (hopefully) long lives. The important part is the gettin some get right.

I disagree. Kam was the most indispensable. Without kam, ET would not have been in position to exercise his raw talent and instincts. Go back and watch how often kam manipulated ET pre snap.

Nothing wrong with being nervous during an interview. I wish nothing but the best to Earl. I knew we had something special in the pre-season and he took a pick 90 yds for a TD. So many great memories. Thank you!

OK watched a few minutes of the interview, some shallow and artificial observations:

1. Was the interview in a 'basic' motel? or an entry-level apartment? Floor AC cheap window cover and all.
2. Earl was in his under-garment? He sure didn't dress up for his back in Seattle interview.
3. He displayed some funny body movements, but he has bright eyes, and sounds like a clear mind.
4. He sounded like he is at peace with himself.
