-- It often changes through the lead up to the draft, but a lot of us that look ahead at draft prospects fall in love with one and hope like heck we draft them. I have two over the years that the Hawks actually drafted. Kam Chancellor, nailed it. And Tariq Woolen, yet to be determined. There have been many that went on to good careers elsewhere, and a few that totally flamed out.

-- So early February, mine is Nick Emmanwori, the safety out of South Carolina.

Who is yours?

Big fan of Armand Membou currently. Think he can potentially play either tackle or guard at an elite level. Amazing profile, only 20 years old. Only knock is height, but his length makes up for it.

I'm not an expert on any prospects in the class yet, but he checks all the boxes on paper and the tape looks good.

I tried not to include guys that will go super high in the draft. These are players scattered throughout the rounds that I feel can play a role in either Macdonald's and Kubiak's systems. In other words, they may not be the most talented overall players but I feel like they fit the offensive or defensive systems with what they do really well.
