Pete…I know it may be a little early but I would rather see him now as it is likely he gets another job next year and it may be a long time before he is available again.

I don't really get the Tate idea. The Fail Mary was a nothingburger to the overall season where the Packers won their division, at 11-5, and lost to the Niners in the second round of the playoffs.

I would vote for Jermaine Kearse, with the overtime dagger to the Packers heart, in the NFCCG at The Clink.

If he is not available, I would offer it to Steve Hauschka, or Chris Matthews, as honorable mentions.

Of course it would be even better to have one of the three involved in the OT NFCCG win over the Packers to raise the flag in a playoff game.

To me it's Tate,
There are a lot of GB fans in Indiana for some strange, odd reason that
cannot be explained.
Anyway, after that TD won the game they were coming up to me crying
about how they were robbed and if the real refs didn't come back - They
was done with football.. Seriously I about died laughing and said to one
"Do you understand the rule"?
It was the correct call and that catch is legendary to me!

Would probably be extra meaningful to Hass anyway, since he got his start with Green Bay, but I kinda feel like he should be a playoff raiser. Not that he can't do both, I suppose.
