I felt the same way...

"Sometime in the third quarter, I looked over at their bench and saw KJ [Wright] standing there. I was like what the...? We have to beat these guys. When I saw KJ, it just kind of pissed me off. He's a Seahawk. He shouldn't have those [49ers] colors on."

What nonsense!

We all love KJ and to us he’s a Seahawk and frankly one of the best ever who is very much under appreciated for his solid steady and talented play as #50 here.

Seeing him as a 49er even if it’s as an assistant coach is motivation to any player who played with him to beat him.

I get upset when seeing any of ‘our guys‘plying elsewhere. It really grates when I see Wagner playing but not in blue and green. There are many others just not Me 3.

Out of all the teams KJ, ALL THE TEAMS. You chose to go to our number 1 enemy. I understand you wanted to be here and was declined, but the 9ers, c'mon man.

He wanted to be here, but the Seahawks turned him down. What was he supposed to do?
I believe this is the scenario, and unfortunately as much as it sucks for us fans that the organization didn’t necessarily want to or chose to go in that direction for him. In the end he’s only an assistant and has flat out always ensured and told fans he’s a seahawk. And KJ a guy I believe. He won’t flip flop like Sherm does on his podcasts to save face constantly. He's honest and I can’t fault a guy who wants take his career to a stage that few players get a chance to.

Although … Geno was only teammates here with KJ for like a year or two. Also the 49ers intentionally did that hiring. KJs title is “defense quality control coach” that is.. interesting. Sounds like a position made up to have a reason to hire someone to piss a competitor off or get under their skin

What were his choices? Were other teams offering him better? If he wants to get into coaching and the Niners offered the best opportunity, and this was the best choice for him and his family... then good for him.

KJ busted his ass here. As far as I'm concerned, he has a blank check to affiliate himself with any team he wants without ridicule, rivalries be damned. I hope he does an awesome job there, and the Niners end up sucking in spite of it.

KJ and Sherm love them some - well, KJ and Sherm. Surprised their heads can fit through most doors.

And they love them some 9ers.

I get the 'traitor' vibe. I do. If that motivates Geno - good.

Pulp Fiction. The Wolf. "Just because you ARE a character, doesn't mean that you HAVE character." :)

extrapolating employment rights based on a comedic visceral reaction is comical all on its own.

Not a made up title at all. It’s an entry-level position. They do film breakdowns and analysis.

KJ is a traitor plain and simple...

Just kidding...hope he does well in coaching and makes his way back here.
For some reason it doesn't bother me as much when football guys go to rivals.

BUT - if you are a SF Giant and you go to the ******* dodgers............dead to me and I hope you get syphilis.
