Seems like a waste of money.

Cooper's been a member of the Over the Hill gang for the last couple of years... big PASS from me,

There's nothing in that article based on any actual substance. It's just a prediction from some guy at SI. It might not even be a guy because I was under the impression that SI doesn't even have human writers anymore.

One of the reasons I was happy with the Kupp signing was that I was worried we were going to settle for Amari, who looked beyond washed to me last year. Still don't really want him, but if he's cheap, then whatever, at least we're in a position now where we hopefully wouldn't be depending on him.

Lets get all the Coopers!

He's only a season removed from a 1250 yard outing. Yeah he's about to be 31 but if he's cheap I'd be fine with it. More targets for Darnold can't be a bad thing.

He is done and he doesn't bring the professional and leadership aspects that Cooper Kupp brings either.
There is a reason he is so productive yet has been traded multiple times in his career now. There is also a reason no teams are going after him now.

I've seen this rumor floated around for weeks but not by anyone credible. I highly doubt we are even looking at him. I think the teams likes some of the receivers in the draft for the long term.

Here and there
The silly season strikes again. :)

Gotta dream up something to fill the website content.
I read somewhere, wish I could find that article some time back..where a players agents will float information to various sources (leaks) with the intention of initiating interest for the players they represent. It was an interesting read. Perhaps where a lot of rumors take place as well.

I think this take on him is a bit harsh. He's been on on 3 teams for most of his career and was very productive with all of them. His fourth team was Buffalo but only for a hot minute. Cooper was traded because the debacle going in Cleveland with Watson. Plus they had no rapport/chemistry and Cooper was too expensive to have on a team that sunk way too much capital into their QB.

I mean the Cowboys traded him for a fourth and the Browns traded him for a third and a pick swap in the Bill's favor and the Bills were desperate and he played terrible and wasn't brought back.
He was shipped off quite a bit and for pretty low picks for a guy with that kind of production.
And he pretty clearly wasn't playing hard for the Browns.

It's not a rumor. It's randominternetguyspeculation.

The source on the OP link is an SI page which should basically means AI thinks the Seahawks should sign Amari Cooper.
