The curse was more about sage veteran checkdown charlies. Pete was willing to give up that underneath stuff, if you are willing to take that early so you hit the outlet guy in stride, they can get some YAC and you can do some damage.

Pete always seemed to win games he had no business winning and losing games he had no business losing.
As mentioned above several times, new coach and staff so I didn't really expect to have the same problem. Pete's success and failures shouldn't automatically transfer to this team.
I didn't just expect MM to have continued success where PC did, like 10am East Coast games. I was happy to see MM learn from how PC did things and continue that trend.
Pete also seemed to have the Lions #, I'm hoping that MM can keep the PC win streak going this week as well!
I really hope MM can keep his reputation as the "Shanahan tree killer" too!!!

Did Pete ever lose to a QB as bad as Skylar Thompson? I can't believe a multi-billion dollar franchise actually employs that man to backup a QB who gets concussed brushing his teeth.
