I don't care if he likes kicking from the left hash. If I was coach I would make him go straight on like most normal kickers.

If he misses his 1st pat I would have to start lookin cuz that SHOULD be the easy one to kick
When you make em from 45 but miss up close it makes me ask the question , does he need glasses ?

To be fair, when they signed him to that deal he was coming off a Pro Bowl season in which he went 41 of 42 on PATs and 34 of 37 on FG's including 6 for 6 on attempts of 50+. That was pretty fair market value for one of the best kickers in the league at the time. And no, I don't think he's one of the best kickers in the league anymore, but he sure played like it in 2022.

He's just...so average, and doesn't instill confidence. Not a fan, but I could see how this wasn't a major area of concern for the new regime. So many other things needed to be addressed. Must suck knowing your days are all but numbered though.

I will say, he has the talent and focus to correct it, and if you wanted this to show itself so he can correct it now is the time, wake up call for him hopefully, figure it out.

So Pete made the salary cap call on that cash outlay?

We pay too much for missed PAT’s. I could do that for free we all could but most of us would make a chip shot
