I woke up this morning with a completely lucid vision of this amazing LOB statue residing in the Northwest section of the stadium. At the very least, Sherman, Kam and ET, poised together (the outer two angled outward a bit). Each in a fight/about to hit or snag a catch pose. Bronze, lifesize and completely badass.

I couldn't find the exact pose that's in my head but here's a really, really rough idea of what I mean. First off they wouldn't be so far apart but close together, almost as if they could be one mold. Sorry, superheroes were all I could find to use as a quick and dirty example:

First of all, why hasn't this been done yet? My secondary idea would be "The Tip". I would LOVE Beast Quake where he's grabbing his junk but I know that would never pass.

I know this would be incredibly expensive but I think it's worth it. We are, after all, talking about an NFL LEGENDARY group. I was wondering about a GoFundMe page or something? I could reach out to VP Mike Flood to see what his thoughts are on starting a grassroots movement.

Any thoughts? Ideas?

I dig your vision, Aros. If I'm reading this right, three statues that honor each player individually but it's also a composite that represents the group?

Love it. Just comes down to picking which play we immortalize them with.

My choice for Sherm: Him playing with one arm in the 2015 NFCCG but stayed in the game. I know everyone goes to "the tip", for good reason, but this sequence really exemplified who Richard was as a player AND a teammate IMO. Just gutting it out like a man.

Sherm

In my "vision" of sorts, I saw three LOB players. One facing straight forward, the other two at an outward angle.

Again, another cheesy example but the old 70's Charlie's Angels graphic comes to mind:

They wouldn't be splayed out quite as dramatically and the outer two would be canted more inward but it's a ballpark.

I would have each of them in a non-passive position. Maybe Kam is thrusting forward with a forearm about to lay the wood on an unfortunate Soul...Earl is getting ready to wrap his arms around someone trying to score...Sherm would be deflecting a pass, even "The Tip".

I do like where you are coming from with your thoughts on Sherm. It's a great statement to his "gutting it out" but I am not sure it would represent well visually for a statue?

I will see if I can't sketch something up that gives us a better visualization...

I'd gunnysack the LOB statue for now.

These are the statues I would like to see at Lumen field.

Mama Blue
Amber Lancaster
Efren Herrera
Bill the Beer Man
Pete Gross

I vote Pete & Mama Blue.

Still have my black arm band from when Amber left.

Seriously though, if Largent doesn't have a statue, why should anybody else have one?

Bravo! Bravo! That's when Richard reached Hero status in my eyes! A One Armed Sherm is better than any other DB in the NFL!

Sherman: "I didn't do it!" Referee aka Tommy Lee Jones: "I don't care!" BeastMode: "You better F'in Care! Or I'll grab yer nutz!"

Fair, but Largent didn't help - no fault of his own of course - bring the team's first Lombardi to Seattle. If I were king, there would be several bronze statues surrounding the stadium. LOB, Largent, BeastQuake, Tez, The Tip, etc...

He is still the greatest Seahawk though. The guy was setting records with Zorn and Kreig as his QB's. That's insane.
