This guy is going to be a superstar in the NFL. I wouldn't mind picking him up with our 18th pick. Just that.

Totally agree. Unfortunately, lots of talk about the Falcons being interested in him at 15 and Bengals at 17. I don't think he is going to be there at 18.

Well he does have the off field issues. Innocent or not, there were some accusations of sexual assault. He could fall.

I don't think he's falling. There are zero rumors of concerns from any of the teams out there and now the Bears at 10 are even linked to him. If you have never seen him play, he is an insane talent and there are some analysts that think he is a better defensive draft pick up than Carter.

This is not to say his charges weren't serious. But if someone like Jalen Carter can get picked at 9 after knowingly being involved in someone's death in a drunken drag race, two dismissed sexual assault charges won't discourage teams from taking Green early if they think he isn't a head case (and maybe even if they do).

I've seen the accusations; nothing came of them. I do think JS met with him just to get more information. I've heard no concerns, so I doubt he falls to us. All of his stats come from the right side of the line offense IIRC but don't quote me on that. Great potential and I don't think he's the bad guy he's been made out to be but knowing what very little information I do know, I think I'd pass.

I agree that Green can be an outstanding player, but if he has not learned from his mistakes he could easily lose the opportunity to utilize his talents on the field of play due to actions off it. So picking him in the draft appears to involve a level of risk that so far appears to have effected attraction toward him. But just as in the case of Carter the NFL will provide for him to get the chance to bury his own self inflicted hatchet.
