Signing him last year didn't make sense and it turned out to be a big mistake. J. Jackson is a $10M player with a $17.5M contract. I was expecting the Rams to pay the March roster bonus and then trade him for a 6th round pick. The Rams correcting a mistake and saving $8.5M is a win at this point.
