Really hoping the team gets sold soon. We see what they've done to the Blazers.

I want another Paul. A voice in the owners room that commands respect from the other owners of the league. Return this organization to top prestige.

I wouldn't be opposed to Ballmer. Wouldn't even be opposed to Bezos regardless of personal opinions of the man. They're all rich douches, for the most part - just get me a rich douche who wants to make this organization the class of the league and will hire the right stewards to build a winner.

Good points. Dewshes or not, if they love football and want this team to be respected league wide and always in the mix, make it happen.
People get way too caught up in their personal feelings about a person.

The Greg Bell post strikes me as a targeted attack on ownership which was weighted at 15% in the survey. Specifically at Jody Allen. The ownership grade is what I would expect for an ownership that has delegated so much of the day to day player business.

For a complete and accurate read of the NFL 2025 Team Reports, the links are provided below.

"The Seahawks remain steady, ranking 15th this year, just slightly down from their 14th-place finish last season. New head coach Mike Macdonald receives strong reviews, with 100% of players agreeing he uses their time efficiently.

The team made significant strides in family accommodations, improving their family treatment grade from a C last year to an A- this year, thanks to the introduction of a family room during games.

At the time of the survey, players identified two key areas for improvement. Their top priority was upgrading the training room and expanding the available treatment modalities. The second concern was the tub room, as only about half of the players felt the current facilities were adequately sized. Following the survey, the team shared positive news: both the training room and tub room will be renovated, with completion set for this offseason."

And next is the link that reveal the complete grading report for all 32 teams >>> https://nflpa.com/report-cards/2025

Interesting. She's rated as a C+ owner, which ranks 21st in the league. She's clearly past her prime, but keeps raising her prices anyway. We're kinda stuck with her for now, but she's likely to be replaced in the near future...

Sounds like Jody Allen is the Geno Smith of owners.

Not surprised at all. Our ownership situation is weird. I don't like being in limbo like this. Hopefully the team will get sold in the near future.
I agree but here's what I fear:

Lumen Field is now over 20 years old I believe. The next owner is gonna want his or her Jerry world built or they threaten relo. Book it.

Yeah, we don't need another Ken "Bubba" Behring. Bezos could fund a new stadium with his pocket change.

Rough. Really rough. Unthinkable under Paul.

I thought that Jody had to relinquish control after a date certain under the terms of Paul Allen. She screwed up the company he gifted her in Portland, sexually harrassing male employees. Now she is holding many more males under her employ. Look up her background in that business. Mr Allen could not have been too happy.

Honestly, I hope Bezos buys them one day. I've studied up on some of his "leadership principles" at his different companies as well as listened to his mindsets behind how he drives his businesses. The Seattle Seahawks are a business, he wants success for the long term, isn't afraid to try new things, but also not afraid to cut his losses if it's not working out after making a poor decision. He wants to put the best people in place and relying on them to do their job making the best decisions, even if he doesn't agree with it, and if they don't...you're out. He is also someone who drives by going after the values of what doesn't change vs trying to get ahead of what will change and be innovative.

Often times we see owners get too involved into the operations of the team, and the fact is the owners don't know what's in the details. We often see owners too loyal to a fault to certain personnel. We also see teams focus way too much on trying to innovate to win vs just going to the basics...start in the trenches on offense and defense. if that's not solid everything else goes out the window.

Lastly, Amazon is still HQ'd in Seattle (mostly). So it works for me too.
