Absolutely feasting on inexperienced young pitching for the 2nd time in the last 3 days.

And damn, Cal is hot AF right now.

Nice to see them take advantage of some weak pitching. Quite the offensive showcase. Cal homers from both sides of the plate again, for the 2d time in 3 games. 🤯

Polanco finally hitting over .200. M's are 4-0 against the Angels this year.

Tomorrow they'll have their best pitcher on the mound. Woo back from the IL.

Good road trip so far.

Tyler Anderson is pretty good, Brian Woo is better. Knock Anderson out, then feast on the bullpen. 3 - 1 win.

Tough loss. Woo a little shaky on his first turn back in the lineup. Hopefully a one-off and he'll be back to form after the break.

This was their best chance to beat us and they did. Oh well, let's go get the other two.

Voth has been pretty good overall. That pitch however, was a f@cking joke. Hitters don't see pitches that sweet in batting practice. Just hung one out dead middle of the zone at 81 mph. That's what hitters dream of.

Julio and France strike out swinging at balls with a golden opportunity to score more runs in the 10th. Then few pitches later you lose on a 2 run home run. That's what happens when there's no coaching going on. No patience no discipline. You can't chase this game

What I saw was a misuse of the pen.

Voth should have pitched the 7th... instead of Santos.

Munoz should have pitched the 8th,,, as he did... but Santos should have pitched the nineth.

That was game that we should have won.

Bad loss. Houston 1 game back.

Pitching is sub par on the road.

Hitting is meh but 5 runs should win you games.

Julio and France needed to drive in more.

Jp has been awful in 8th or later.

Ugh. I don't think even pessimistic Mariners fans thought the Stros would catch the M's by the All-Star break when they were 10 1/2 games up in what seemed like last week.

Santos pitched the 7th, Stanek pitched the 8th, Munoz pitched the 9th, and they all did their jobs just fine. Not sure what you think the problem was? Also, Servais had to go to his pen in the 4th because Woo was pretty awful last night. The pen gave up zero runs from the 4th inning to the 10th inning, until Voth (who again, has generally been very good) hung a ridiculously non competitive pitch over the middle of the plate and got punished for it.

Now that we've got that straight, let's also not forget that was only the 2nd appearance of the season for Santos, and Munoz has been our best reliever by far (and quite frankly, one of the best in the league). No way Santos should immediately replace the role has Munoz has been in all season. Certainly not after he has a whopping 1 inning under belt this season.

Servais managed the pen very well last night. They threw 6 scoreless innings before Voth f@cked up in the 10th.

Julio is 10 for 16 on this road trip, with 2 doubles, 2 HR's, 4 RBI's, a walk, and yes, 6 K's. While that isn't perfect, that's still very, very good.

Yeah I can't blame Voth, he's done a great job this season
but nobody is perfect.
