Think it made a difference that our two Pro Bowl O-linemen were back? Man, that was fun to watch! Marshawn just steamrolling down the field. Like Russ said after the game, "If we get our passing game going, we're gonna be hard to stop". Let's hope it does get going, and along with getting more guys back, we could be setting up for a second half surge. I sure hope so anyways...

I just lurked Chiefs Planet and I must say that they are some of the most knowledgable and realistic posters I have seen in awhile. Don't get me wrong, they are confident like a good fan should be, but. they can articulate why and what they need to do to win and many have a great understanding of the Hawks strengths and weaknesses. This is going to be a battle.

So I've got $100 riding on this game... I made the bet around 1am at a bar with my buddy (in the Summer time) who's a die hard chiefs fan and I gotta say, I'm thoroughly stressed out. I got payback on my mind from the last time we played, but I had no idea the game was being played at arrowhead. I haven't bet on the hawks since the notorious Al Harris OT playoff incident (I got cocky when we were up 14 zip) and that cost me $100.

I hope someone can persuade me that it's a good bet kuz I'm not going to be able to tolerate it from him if we lose!!!

Totally. The most knowledgeable fan base I've personally ever encountered.

My heart says we lean on the run and pull out a gutty one.

My head says we lean on the pass and lose by 10-14. O ye of little faith, I know.

Our rookie Britt and penalty-prone Okung will be blocking KC's insane two-headed pass rush, and I expect the air-blocking and penalties, respectively, to increase as they start to feel the heat. Russ will be running for his life all day.

Mebane's out for good, so I expect a little more ground yardage given up. But I think KC will [successfully] use the game plan that served San Diego and many of our other opponents so well, which is to dink-and-dunk us to death. Screens, a TON of check-downs, etc. And unlike last year, we will be powerless to stop it.

*But* KC's streak of not giving up a rushing touchdown is over this week, courtesy of a Mr. Marshawn Lynch. In fact, I think our only chance against KC is to lean on the run, big time, get a lot of help from TEs, and only throw when we have to. I'm gonna be pissed if we get to halftime and we're only rushing 38% of the time and losing the TOP battle.

From Chiefs Planet : "The only thing you need to know about the Seahawks is that they are going to kick our ass"

At least they talk about the upcoming game unlike a lot of other teams sites. I've been to Arrowhead before to watch our
beloved Hawks and let me tell you it's not a friendly place haha.

BlueThunder, as always a big thanks for posting these!

It sounds like both fanbases are afraid of this game, both fanbases are doing the proverbial "think of the worst, hope for the best" (is that the saying?)

Or like how Coach says, they don't gameplan for what the opposing team is currently doing, but what the opposing team can do at their best. Forum posters may be the same huh?

Good thread on Chiefs Planet (I like to read them backwards)

Expect dink and dunk.

The question is. What is more formidable?...Dink or Dunk.

I'm sayin' Dink.
