I just read the Steelers are balking at extending him and he might be available soon. The Hawks are listed as the most logical landing spot given our plethora of picks and cap space. That would be an awesome upgrade at edge, although he is 31.

Having seen what a wrecking ball this guy can be, I'd only worry about his injury history. I loved his brother, JJ, with the Texans.

JS never goes for the best. Always 3rd rate like Nwoso. If we don't grow them we won't have them.

Watt would never agree to play here. He would request a super bowl contender. Eagles Chiefs somewhere like that.

Lawrence/Watt = Bennet/Avril, our gm's m.o. before going on a championship run just sayin...

Someone mentioned it would take our 1st and 3rd.. that seems steep for a to be 31 year old, but yeah, I'm interested.

It might take a draft pick and a player, in which case I hope it's not K9 but could be.

Wild Speculation on my part, of course, for FUN.

I wouldn’t touch Watt. The amount it’s going to cost to get him both in draft capital and money wouldn’t be worth shortening your championship window. I think our window starts in 2026. We don’t confidently know what we have in our QB yet. Watt is 31 now and push up our window before we’re ready. He’s had injury issues, not major injuries but he gets banged up a lot. Phenomenal player but I say keep getting younger. We have enough of the proven vets at the end of their window. We only really need one more vet on the O line.

I saw there was a thumbnail for Chat Sports YouTube page about the possibility of Watt coming to Seattle I try not to waste my time with clickbait so I thought I would wait till a legitimate source ran a story…..still waiting
Yeah I blocked Chat Sports so they don’t pop up on my feed. There is nothing legitimate about them

Meh. Why does Watt warrant a first and a third? That just doesn't happen anymore. We will give them Sam Howell and a third. You see, the Steelers are stuck with an unhappy player. That diminishes the return. Then we will sign him with an impossible escalator contract we can get out of in 2 years. 4 years 160 million 60 million guaranteed. Per game appearances, PFF ranking bonuses, interceptions, tackles, sacks....That's my final offer. Where's my checkbook?

Just regurgitated news that other outlets already post. Them and Brendan Nelson are two pages I don't bother with.

He’s already playing in a warm climate with a solid qb position and Super Bowl contender, so he should be ok coming to Seattle for a bit.

Absolutely phenomenal player, but he wants 40 a season, pretty rich. Feels like more clickbait. But worth talking about. It's TJ fricken Watt.
