The mariners need contact hitters. They don’t need power bats. Hitters hitting .220 and lower don’t cut it. I’m tired of seeing people on and no outs and can’t manufacture runs or get hits with men on.

I think the offensive explosion had less to do with the shape of some bats but more about facing poor pitching including a pitcher who had been previously with them the season before

MLB has come out and said they are perfectly legal so long as they meet the parameters which so far all have.

There's a couple. I only recall Chisolm and Volpe but I am sure there are others.

Five Yankees used torpedo bats in the Brewers series. But those five hit 9 home runs in three games. Aaron Judge, who hit 4 HRs, did not use the torpedo bat.
