He's projected as an UDFA (he's 25) or maybe a very late round pick.

He's played in quite a few offenses in his collegiate career. He has one of the lower turnover worthy throw %s in the NCAA, some solid accuracy and good decision making.

I think he could be a steal of a backup with serious potential at playing in the league. Did I mention he's 6'5"?

Shough will be a day 2 pick. He's the 4th best QB in the draft. I would doubt it but I could see a scenario where he goes in the 1st.

If Ward, Sanders and Dart all end up going early 1st, unlikely but possible. I could see Shough maybe going to the Steelers at 21.

I'm not saying he's not good but to me the age bothers me. Slightly younger than Darnold. The traits are there but to me the age is an issue since he won't start for at minimum 1 year, maybe longer

This guy is absolutely rocketing up some boards. He's gone from a sneaky good late round pick to an absolutely bonkers 1st round pick for some. The NFL is insane.
No doubt. So many years a guy just goes from 2nd or 3rd round, maybe, to top half of the 1st round. It's almost yearly with QB.
Christian Ponder, my boy Jake Locker, Ryan Tannehill, etc. Crazy how much they jumped.

Then, of course, people acting like the 39-year-old Michael Penix was gonna' go 3rd round. How adorable

My first thought watching this clip, is that he has a weak arm or fantastic touch? 🤔. The Hawks should be drafting guys to possibly flip them for higher picks in a year or two, anyways.

Not all that sure about this guy and the draft has been really funny lately when it comes to QB's...the top tier goes in the early 1st and then the next tier can once in a while sneak in to very late 1st/very early 2nd rd....and then you might not hear a QB's name again until day 3.

From what I have been told the age is a non issue to some GMs they feel if you can get 7-10 years out of a QB it’s a win. Shough is more attractive to teams that need a guy to start sooner vs later

Yeah, I keep hearing it's a non-issue to GM's. Luckily for everyone involved I'm not a GM because I would pass just due to age (if we still had Geno that would be different) But I can see a team at the end of the 1st or early 2nd taking him depending on where and when the 3 QB's ahead of him go.

Or the Steelers who have Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson and 2 impatient WRs when not getting the ball

Yeah I said Steelers in a previous post. They make the most sense. Most win now team in desperate need of a QB. I bet they go QB at 21 and I bet it’s Shough if Ward, Sanders and Dart are gone.

Who knows what JS likes in a QB. Zero track record to handicap.

But as a guesser, it's all based on projection. Boom or bust. Dart, Milroe, Ewers. Milroe is closest to LJ and synchs with AR who everyone said was a JS type pick.

We do have a track record to go off of though. Only shitty QB's have really been available at our picks in the draft and we can conclude he doesn't like shitty QB's.

On a serious note there have been reports of him really liking Mahomes and Allen. We can start to narrow it down by what traits did they have in common back then.

I am definitely on the Dart bandwagon but do not believe we will have a chance at getting him. I would not object to taking a shot with Shough as I think he has shown sufficient potential and I do not feel his age is in any way a determining factor. In fact I can see more than a little but of Mahomes in his style of play.

My prediction is dart is a day 2 pick, early to mid 2nd round

Milroe is the worst QB in the draft. trash. Nobody likes Milroe.
