When does the NFL hand out fines?

I think Thursday is when the media gets them. Dupree seems to think "he's good" because it's Wednesday, but the league told Pete that it absolutely should have been a flag, and he is a repeat offender.

But there are times when defensive players go too far. We expect the league is going to notify Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Bud Dupree that he went too far on his hit on Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson Sunday.

Plays like this would be less meaningful if Dupree was making some legitimate plays on defense as well. Dupree had a sack last season and got everyone's hopes up but it feels like this will be yet another year where he's more hype than substance.

Let me hep you, well he was out of the box, and could have been running, and he did not mean it and if it was that bad they would have called it.

They already announced a fine for Jamal Adams for a hit on Monday Night, haven't seen anything on Bud Dupree.

Carroll later sent the play to the NFL along with a list of questions in hopes of receiving a better explanation on why the hit went unpenalized, to which the league admitted the coach that a flag should have indeed been thrown on the play.
