Why are PM's hung up in my outbox?

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.

I'm trying to send a personal apology for being a dick and it won't send. So, I feel some urgency. :)

I searched the FAQ (text search) and the word "outbox" isn't in there, so I don't think it's addressed. Sorry if the answer is posted somewhere obvious and I just can't find it.

PMs sit in your outbox until they are read by the receiving party. The search yields many results with the same answer...

Just to show a few of the results.

Anguish,

Thanks, man. Appreciate your response.

Sorry for not looking for the answer diligently enough. I searched the FAQs. You might dodge some questions if you put some of the above content in the FAQ's. That's where I tend to go when I look for what I assume are commonly-asked questions.

Dude, you do a great job. Thank you for all of your hard work. But please read below, you've made me feel like a moron even though I did what many people in my position would do.

There is a very prominent "FAQ" button (screen shot below), shining like a beacon for plebes like me, on every single page of this website's header: http://www.seahawks.net/faq.php

That's where I looked for the answer. I did a Ctrl+F search on that page for "outbox" and scanned the questions. No dice.

I repeat: I looked for the answer in the most obvious FAQ link on the entire site--and I'm being made to feel like a moron for it. I love this site. I give to it whenever I can. I promise I'm not trying to be a pain in the ass.

But I'm inferring that the giant FAQ button on every page of this site isn't where people should go for many commonly-asked questions. I appreciate that answers are all over the place. But please don't' make me feel like an idiot for looking for the answer in the place this website seems to be telling me to.
