Cliff Avril clone Tyreke Smith DE

Tyreke Smith Ohio ST. DE 6'3" 267 he reminds me of Avril so much you just gotta check him out. True bender comming around the cornner. Disruptive style of play, batting down passes, creating turnovers.

At draftek hes rated at 147th, could be some late round money. :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

Did I call it or what. Ok, I did see a worth in Tyreke Smith beyond all the numbers and now they are saying that he could be the steal of the draft.

Cliff Avril's get-off was elite. IIRC, his 10-yard split was 1.53 sec., which is outstanding considering his size/weight.

Cliff ran a 4.51 sec forty. Smith ran a 4.86.

I'll be (happily) shocked if Smith's production is anywhere close to Cliff's.

Aldon Smith was off the charts athletically. His draft profile predicted an All Pro future, which was spot-on, but could not predict his being a knucklehead.

Sadly, Tyreke is not in Aldon's class.

It’s okay if you read my post here I already did some of the work.

I think for sure though if the Seahawks can help T. Smith maximize some of his abilities he’s going to a quality cog in the pass-rush rotation.
