Vandy CB JoeJuan Williams declares for draft

I think the stock has to rise on this guy. Prototypical size at 6'3", 208. 2018 second team All-SEC from AP, coaches, and PFF. Has snagged 4 interceptions this year for Vanderbilt.

He shows decent speed, and his change of direction is not a liability. Tackling has room for improvement, but is not bad. I would not be shocked to see him be selected day 2.

Haven't watched anything but a short highlight reel yet, but I'm intrigued. If I had to guess, I would think Seattle would take a stronger tackler at CB, but I like what I see from this guy so far. Long, quick, and production indicates he has some semblance of ball skills.

THeir qb has an arm too. Watched a little bit of the bowl game on Thurs night and he seemed to be able to toss it well. But I only watched about 20 mins of the game. Rough day, exhausted and tired.

Pete loves his DBs. He drafts a couple every year, it seems.

Not sure Pete would go first round on a guy like this, but 2d round, maybe.

This is a guy I would have loved to come away with. I have a feeling about him. Pick 45 was too rich for us to come away with him, but I think he's gonna excel with New England.
