P9: Isaiah Simmons, S/OLB/Blitzer/TE eraser/swiss army knife, Clemson. Traded 27/64/2021 1st.
P59: Isaiah Wilson, OT, Georgia.
P101: Logan Stenberg, OG, Kentucky.
P133: Davion Taylor, OLB, Colorado.
P144: Kindle Vildor, CB, Georgia Southern.
P191: McTelvin Agim, DT, Arkansas.

Needed more D-Line talent, but I mocked as if Griffen and Clowney were both on the team for 2020. Pushes DL need to 2021, went for a gamechanging talent in a trade up. Not what will happen, but it's probably what I'd do if given the opportunity. Didn't want to give up 64, but ah well.

Anyone noticed that the depth at DT falls off a cliff around the end of the 3rd. Rd.?

Definitely. Seems the entire draft just ends during round 5. Camp bodies everywhere. Mostly DBs and RBs. Limits the value of returns on trade back scenarios at least with respect to 2020 picks.

And it looks like Seattle agrees with this assessment. Shedding all their picks after round 4 save a comp pick in R6.

Yeah, I've been thinking the same (trade up for Young, Simmons or maybe Chaisson). Nice idea. I don't see Seattle leaving this draft without a WR before the end of R3. Given the moves made to bolster the OL, I think we'll settle on one.

Here's one I did with two trades 1st 27 to GB for 30 and 94, then 30 & 101 to Carolina for 38, 69, & 184 .

My assumptions were Britt is traded for future pick(s)or released, the team redoes Clowney or signs Griffen.

SEA 133. Bryce Hall, CB UVA
SEA 144. Lamical Perine, RB Florida
SEA 184. Alex Taylor, OT SC State
SEA 214. Steven Montez, QB Colorado

Got some young DLine talent before the cliff, and solid OLine talent in a rich OLine draft, disappointed I missed out on the WRs, and some of the S talent that might have been around at our picks.

Might be the best one I've seen yet. Realistically 7 strong contributors in that class, with several that could end up being starters by Thanksgiving.

The last few rounds will naturally seem weaker when you've been mainly looking at guys taken on days 1 and 2. There are a still a lot of players with great upside they just have very low floors as well.

Here are a few late round/UDFA guys that seem Seahawky to me for various reasons (physicals, SPARQ, backstory):
QB: Cole McDonald, Steven Montez
RB: La'Mical Perine, Christian Gibson
TE: Stephen Sullivan, Charlie Woerner
WR: Darnell Mooney, Malcolm Perry, Devin Duvernay, Ben Victor, Dezmon Patmon, Josh Pearson
OL: Alex Taylor, Justin Herron, Hakeem Adenjii, Charlie Heck, Kevin Dotson, Austin Capps, Cordel Iwuagwu
DT: Benito Jones, Darrion Daniels, Larrell Murchison, Malcolm Roach, DaVon Hamilton, McTelvin Agin
LEO: Casey Toohill, DJ Wonnum, Alex Highsmith, Azur Kamara, Jon Garvin
DE: Nick Coe, Rob Windsor, Jonah Williams
LB: Khaleke Hudson, Cameron Brown, Cale Garrett, Evan Weaver
CB: Michael Ojemduia, Bryce Hall, Ray Buford, Kindle Vildor, BoPete Keyes, Reggie Robinson, Delrick Abrams (33 1/4" arms)
S: JR Reed, K'Von Wallace, Daniel Thomas, Josh Metellus, Alohi Gilman, Luther Kirk

I’ve spent waaaaaay too much time on this lol.

Like many have said the draft looks to be 4/5 rounds deep with good players then after that it kind drops off. DT falls off a cliff in round 3. Tons of WR all the way to round 4. Pash rusher thin, those guys are gonna go way ahead of where they probably should.

Moving from 27 to the mid 30’s range provides us with so much value . Moving down 8 spots to 35 lets us add another pick in the top 100/ move that pick from 101 up to 70ish where there’s lots of good players or even move from 60ish up to 45 is where you can get a borderline 1st rounder along with 35.

Honestly there’s no way that Schneider and co pick before 30/32

Trade backs award way too much value in the 1st round. Gets fairly accurate after that. Pretty good haul imo

pff 4 round
settings are...

Big board - 75% pff 25% public
Draft for needs - most importantly
Care for positional needs - most importantly
Randomness - less random

A bunch of trade backs ended up with 11 picks in four rounds...
56-59-64-69-75-101-103-113-127-133-144

56. Chase Claypool WR 6'4" - 230lbs ----- 9 7/8 hands - 32 1/2 arms - 4.42 forty - 40 '1/2 vert - 10'06" broad - 19 bench -----
I just like the idea that he is from Canada, so under developed and has progressed and is coming into his own. I like that he is a tenacious blocker at 6'4" 230 lbs and that he is a physical pass catcher with speed and good hands ... a lot like D.K. .. our run game could have basically two move TE out there pass blocking and creating miss matches in coverage .. allowing Tyler to slice and dice whoever is trying to cover him.

59. Isaiah Wilson OT/OG 6' 6 1/2" - 350 lbs ----10 1/4" hands - 35 1/2" arms - 84 3/8" wingspan - 5.32 forty - 1.79 10 y - 26 bench - 29 vert - 9' 02" broad - 5.07 20y shuttle - 8.26 3 cone-----

I usually don't stress the o line like some on here but Russ ain't a spring chicken anymore and while I believe his best football is to come, he won't be the 20 something scrambling phenom he once was, they have to start caring a little more about building a bad ass offensive line.

Isaiah Wilson is 350lbs but he is built like the thing from the fantastic four... not a fat guy. He has length, strength and moves pretty well and his best football is ahead of him most likely since he is only 20 years old.

64. Antoine Winfield FS 5' 09" 203lbs ---- 9 1/2 " hands - 30 1/8" arms - 4.45 forty - 36" vert - 10" 04" broad ----

It came down to every team wanted to trade me there picks during this mock so I had a ton and my next player drafted I knew would be there because of his position. This is a luxury pick of sorts since we have some young options and some older veterans but we don't have a true ball hawking center fielder, we have possibilities but they are not sure things. Also this dude is just a stud and could probably play slot corner and he won't last this long into the second round but can't be mad at adding him to the squad at all.

69. Jonathan Taylor RB 5' 10" 226 lbs ---- 4.39 forty - 9 1/2" hands - 31 1/8" arms - 17 bench - 36" vert - 10' 03" broad - 4.24 20 yard shuttle - 7.01 3 cone ----

I like Zack Baun at 27 which some people won't understand but a Sam backer that can do it all and rush the passer from line backer is a thing. He can also play leo on pass rush downs, former QB with wicked smarts and motor.... it just makes too much since but I traded back and the reason I bring him up is he is the only player I would select .. out of the ones that should be available at 27 ahead of Jonathan Taylor.

That also doesn't make sense to a lot of people and pff does not, it was my worst graded pick even in the third round 59.6 maybe because of the other rb's available, I get that Taylor needs to take better care of the rock but your talking a ton of caries to pick up those fumbles and players can improve.

His hands also can get better and they are not terrible but consistency is important to him .. understands how to take care of his body since talking to Ron Dayne after his freshman year, runs hard, has power, underrated cutting ability, great patience and vision and can take it to the house any time he touches the ball.

One analyst said it best, " Taylor would be a top 15 pick if this was the 1980's" , well Pete loves himself some 80's ball. With the red zone issues, the three and out issues I love the idea of a hard nose, power runner for Pete ball that can also pull off a 90 yard house call.

10.5 100 meter.

75. Matt Peart OT 6' 6 5/8" 318 lbs ----- 9 1/2" hands - 36 5/8 " arms - 86 1/2 " wingspan - 26 bench - 30 vert - 9" 05" broad - 4.92 20 yard shuttle - 8.01 3 cone ----

D. Brown is 34 years old and we need some left tackle prospects being groomed in the back ground until the wheels fall off on his brilliant football career. I like J. Jones but want some more talent in the pezz dispenser at left tackle.

Peart's best football could be ahead of him coming from the Bronx NY and not the South East or texas where your going to offensive line camp from birth and development peaks at high school. Those arms, that size and the movement skills .. put him in the weight room and let him learn.

Jim Naggy mentioned him on a podcast from the Senior bowl as an intriguing player with the arrow point up.. keep bringing in guys like this and wilson until we have the legion of boom like nick name for the best offensive line of all time... a kid can dream.

oh and guys can slow down with dings through the season .. but that arm length is always 86 1/2 " even with a sore ankle on week 12. We missed out on a deep defensive line draft last year for the most part .. still have hope for LJ Collier but lets not miss out on a deep tackle draft.

101. Jonathan Greenard DE 6'3" - 263lbs ----- 9 1/4 hands - 34 7/8 arms - 4.87 forty - 1.71 10 yard - 22 bench - 30 1/2" vert - 9' 5" broad - 4.34 20 yard shuttle - 7.13 three cone ----

Montez Sweat would look pretty sweat on the roster right now .. but maybe we don't get D.K. if it doesn't go down like it did ... so whatever and LJ's story hasn't been written yet.

Greenard probably doesn't make it this far ... since it's not last year .. but in this unrealistic mock draft .. he was there and I had a ton of picks .. generally I don't like to reach for needs .. I want good players added to the roster. At this point I have to pick him up even though this edge class does not appear awesome, this guy has a chance.

Motor, long arms, leadership qualities .. injuries slowed development so as an option to put into the LEO pez dispenser there are worst options.

103. Lloyd Cushenberry III OC/OG 6'3" - 312lbs ------ 10 3/8 hands 34 1/8 arms - 84 1/4" wingspan - 5.27 forty - 1.82 10 yard - 25 bench -----

A strong dude for the Center/Guard Pezz dispenser ... In my dream for an all time offensive line why not have a center with 84 inch wingspan, 10 1/2 inch hands and 34 inch tackle like arm length that is also stout at the point of attack. Not the best movement skills but not terrible either... a lot to like for the future.

Wore the 18 patch to signify the jersey number he was awarded, which is an honor at LSU for Rudy type heart beat players .. one on offense one on defense.

113. Antonio Gibson RB/WR/KR/PR 6' 3/8" - 228lbs ----- 4.39 - 8 5/8" hands - 31 1/8" arms - 4.39 forty - 16 bench - 35 vert- 9'10" broad ----

I just don't want Tyler Lockett getting banged up returning one more punt or kick .. I want to save him for offense. This guy is evidently a four phase special teams player with upside as a wr or rb, I want him to be Bobby Joe Edmunds though for the most part and be a primary returner.. with Homer helping out on kick offs.

He may have to learn to punt return .. but I know he kick returns.

127. Jeremy Chinn S/OLB 6' 03" 223lbs ---- 9 5/8" hand - 32 1/8" arm - 4.45 forty - 20 bench - 41" vert - 11' 06" broad ----

Like I said I hate reaching for needs and just want .. what I believe are good players filling a need if all things are equal, there are more pressing needs a defensive tackle to plug into the rotation would be great but .. I would be reaching and that does not get it done.
Big, fast, explosive tester to go with good small school production. Where he will play is above my pay grade but give him to Pete and let him figure it out .. OLB, S or whatever but more special teams life blood to start for sure.... doubt he is here but screw reality.

133. James Morgan QB 6' 4" 229lbs ---- 9 3/4" hand - 33 3/8" arm - 4.89 forty - 29" vert - 9' 4" broad - 4.64 20 yard shuttle - 7.51 3 cone ----

Grew up in GB a Brett Farve fan .. they say he is tough with a big arm some mobility who needs to work on accuracy .. or something like that. I don't know but sounds good to me and Seattle met with him pre draft .. for what it's worth pff loved it my best graded pick at 95... weird.
I just like the idea of grooming a guy under Russ to flip down the road for draft picks after he has showed out in the preseason ... and starting with a 6'4" 230lb mobile ish tough guy with a big arm is the right idea.

144. Thaddeus Moss TE 6' 2" 250lbs ---- 9 7/8 hand - 31 7/8 arm ----

Thank God this is the last guy .. man I was excited when I started writing this up now I am excited that I am almost finished...
4 tight ends on the roster two are 30 years old plus one has never played a full season and one is a move tight end. I am not sure if the expanded 55 man rosters start this year but even if they do 4 tight ends is a stretch not to mention 5.
Moss however is a scrappy willing blocker that brings his hard hat in the blocking game and at 6' 2" is an intriguing TE/FB option.

I hate it when the Seahawks keep a FB on the roster because while it can be a problem for teams to have to deal with ....defending with all the pass defending types in the league today roster spots are valuable .. so finding a good full back that can fill in another role would be huge.
Moss has great hands and having a full back as a weapon would be amazing.. especially one that can go from the back field to in line te depending on the defensive look. 6'2' 250lbs loves to block and catches everything.

Big run or play action pass formation

D.K .......... DisslyT...G...C..G...T.............Claypool
....................................Russ
....................................Moss
............................Taylor or Carson

Guaranteed to waste time ... check. This highly unrealistic draft was fun to dream on however ... peace.

Ok pff simulator is broken with trade glitch..most realistic way to do it .. is draft for all teams .. and give them all good picks ..the ones you love and go to fan forums to find out the ones they want... gives you a better idea who will be there when the Hawks pick.. have to use draft networks simulator for that.... seeing how good of draft I can get with the trade glitch... boredom is a thing.

Trade accepted
The trade has been executed.

You receive 2

WAS receives 27, 144, 214, 2021-R1

now I have the number two pick for this years first next years first a fourth and a sixth... So now everyone wants the number two and you just start trading back.

trade accepted
The trade has been executed.

You receive 5, 18, 26, 39, 56, 70, 2021-R1

MIA receives 2(QB)

Washington GM is getting fired for sure.

now I got my first round pick back for next year but Miami's ... and a bunch more ... anyway ... always compete .. people gonna be fighting for roster spots... Super Bowl!!!

wow they fixed the glitch .. right after I posted this ... now you have to make a pick if you trade up... they got some sharp kids over there at pff or they read .net.

It’s crazy how RB’s and to some extent TE’s can slide a ton in this mock but pass rushers, WR’s, and o line guys get gobbled right up. I wonder if some of the success of guys like Carson and others who got picked up in late rounds has deterred some from using top 100 picks on them
