Why not ? Pennies will miss most of the season, Lynch is nearing the end of his career, RBs can usually have very productive rookie seasons.

Johnathan Taylor Wisconsin RB 5'11" 230ish 4.4

Plus our starting RB is comming off a hip fracture .

Just think you can find a RB later in the draft (see Carson) and between OL and DL there are just greater needs. I perfer to go best player available so if that's what the FO feels i won't be mad but i'll hope that's not the vision.

I think it's just bad policy to draft running backs so high. It's a position where value can be found elsewhere. I'd rather leverage 27 into positioning as many picks as possible in the second tier of talent this year, and take a running back later like Dillon or Edwards-Helaire if he's there in the third.
