I don't think it's quite that simple. Obviously the NCAA and the NFL are separate entities, so they could make different decisions about whether or not to have a season. You're probably right though, if the NFL chooses not to have a season, the NCAA would almost certainly do the same. It's possible for there to still be a draft though, even without a college or NFL season. It would suck having to choose from players who have been sitting out for a year, but still possible.
If there's no college season and no draft, what happens to player eligibility? Does everybody get an extra year? If so, what happens to incoming freshmen? Schools only get 85 scholarships, so how do they handle all the extra players?
Also, if there's no draft next year, what happens with all the draft picks that have been traded in upcoming drafts like the Seahawks 2021 1st round pick that was traded to the Jets? Do they just vanish, or would everything bump back a year, and we'd be without our 2022 and 2023 1st round picks?
