How does a D1 kicker miss a 31 yard field goal that badly

Sooners Kicker ( arguably the best in NCAA this year) shanked a FG to win in 3rd overtime.

He was 51 for 51 last season, 17 for 17 so far this year. FGs and PAT.

Sooners score TD in fourth OT and make the 2 pointer.

Texas down 8 with another chance to tie

Texas isn't great anymore.

Texas is loaded with talent as are most of the Texas NCAA teams.

The State of Texas is arguably one of the top states in terms of producing good football players.

You’re correct IMO, the Longhorns are lacking, and have been for a while.

However, make no mistake there are some good players on that Squad.

Texas is a strange place in terms of colligate football. Regardless of who you like, you’re either with the Aggies or the Longhorns. I lean Longhorn but I’m a TCU fan. I like Patterson a lot but he’s at a disadvantage because TCU isn’t a public school.

The Longhorns will probably continue to slide until they get a coach that will be able to recruit players outside of the die hard Longhorn families.

Best game of the year so far. I was really pulling for the Longhorns. The Irish win last night was close. What a great game. College football is so much fun to watch.

I consider the Red River Rivalry to be one of the elite NCAA games.
