We could save 10 million in cap space by retiring Bobby Wagner.

Mike Rose could be a solid replacement for Wagner, his films shows Roses ability to blitz and play stroug in pass coverage. Give him a look zee for yourself and tell me you disagree. But, you won't. Big 12 defensive player of the year.

His freashman year tape is very telling.

I was speaking mostly about his pre-draft hype comparisons. Also, we still have Wagz so it wouldn't make sense to bench him for Brooks. I was under the assumption that Brooks would be the heir to Bobby's throne when he decided to hang up his cleats.

I understand that Brooks could slide over and fill in for Wags but, I'm talking about replacing aging players to lower the cap hit on us.

If we are going to replace wags this is the year to do so. This is a good mike class !

We'll have about 45 million next year to spend, if we can replace wags and Brown it would jump to 65 million.
