Nice pics! I haven't been to Texas in a few years (Dallas, San Antonio, and Austin) but the people were quite friendly.

I know what PMedic is short for, so Imma take a hard PASS on that.

P.S. - I thought the virus was going to magically disappear on Nov 4th?

You’ll be sorely missed.

I’ll never be caught begging anyone to have a good time on my dime.

I enjoyed Texas when I traveled last month. I liked Dallas far better than Houston, but that's probably because I got to see Dealy Plaza which was on my bucket list.

I'm down as long as finances permit.

I'd be down. I recently relocated to SA, so you're not that far away.

sh!thole city and state

and organization.

Apparently the other options are...

Phoenix (Better hope it's late, late, late in the year.)
San Francisco (Underpass tent city now, but at least there's a map to avoid the sidewalk poo.)
Minneapolis (The non-burned areas are decent early in the season.)
What is that, some soccer team? Oh, L.A. (See: San Francisco, but without the map.)
Green Bay (Better known as "rural Wisconsin." Better hope it's early, early, early in the year.)
Houston (Aforementioned above. As long as the party's somewhere outside the megalopolis.)
Indianapolis (Decent city, actually, but full of Andrew Luck fans.)
The Washington Huskies? Is this another home ga— oh. (D.C. was a great tourist visit before the wall went up.)
Pittsburgh. (Yay, it's... Pittsburgh. Amish country is very pleasant, though.)
Not really...The owner is the one who loves the guy but the fans?
A lot of the fans think of him as a quitter and I don't blame em.
Downtown is pretty nice..By the stadium you have plenty of
hotels and great food.
I'll be going to that game :2thumbs:

Hahaha picky about your locations!

Are there places here in the US you do like? :D

The Niners play in Santa Clara now. They and their opponents either stay at the Hyatt Regency Burlingame or close by. If you want to actually waste time in SF the Embarcadero/Fisherman's Wharf area are relatively clear of poo, but sf for the most part is overrated and always has been.

Randomly there are (or were pre lockdown) loads of flights from London to Houston. Its a very popular route for whatever reason. Denver also seems to be a new route gaining popularity again for no explicable reasons.

I was close to pulling the trigger on a 3 day jaunt to LA couple of seasons back but would have spent most of the time in the air.

Will follow this with interest. Need to squeeze in lumen field at some point also.

To be completely transparent and fair.

The party we had back in “13” that the pictures are from, it was co-hosted by myself and HoustonHawk. Several guys assisted w/finances as well.
Having said that, there was tons of decent food, and we didn’t drink all the adult beverages. ( not for lack of try)

I’m not sure I could pull that off again on my own, but I’d sure be willing to do what can to ensure we had a few cold beers and a spot to have a “meet up”.
If interest builds as time goes by, maybe we could do another joint effort type thing.
Tailgating in Houston is epic in proportion, and probably rivals any stadium in the NFL.

I'd love to go to Houston. Went to a game in New Orleans a few years back and had a wonderful time. :irishdrinkers:

NOLA is a great city to visit.

Well as the date gets closer we'll firm up our times. Looking forward to some great Texan BBQ!

Would love to go to Houston. Getting the hints laid out there now. Another trip to NO is a priority when that happens.

I’m going to reiterate:

12/12

The potential for something great to happen at this game is in the stars.

Anyone riding the fence only needs to consider the calendar date.

It’s a no brainer.

Duh.
