Every hero needs a villain.

What individual person (player, coach, owner, etc) do you think is the Seahawks' main antagonist going into the 2021 season?

The 2012-2014 villain for the Seahawks was Jim Harbaugh. He was loud, arrogant, and just an easy guy to root against. The better the 49ers got, the better our team tried to get to compete with them. We basically built that defense to stop Harbaugh's scheme. We drafted Bruce Irvin to counter Kaepernick imo

A few seasons back, I say Cam Newton and then Bruce Arians were the Seahawks villain. Both were annoying. Arians would always talk smack after the game and made me want to smack the TV.

To some folks on dot net, this poll missed one name: Pete Carroll.

You need a trigger for a villain to happen, we have not had one in a while, teams become careful when your good as not to provoke you. It's when your not good teams bait and trash talk.

Now if this thread was who is going to be the player we beat up all season it would be more interesting. Ifedi is gone, Flowers was not starting, Pocic seemed to be the favorite for this based on comments that have been made to date.

That's because their assessment of Pete Carroll is CRAPPOLA...All they have to do is PROVE BEYOND A SHADOW OF DOUBT, that he isn't the best HEAD COACH that the Seahawks have EVER had and IF they can go & take away Pete's job, (that will go a long way in proving their credibility) & turn this Franchise into a Dynasty, OR, "THEY" need to suck it up, and admit that THEY don't know >>>>SQUAT!!!!

LOL! Well, she may be the cause of Russ's "no time to sleep" excuses now.

I don't think we have a disliked coach or player like we did with Kaepernick, Harbaugh or even red-faced Arians. Donald is too good to hate that much.

I didn't put Pete Carroll since he would fall under the category "ourselves"

I remade the poll to satisfy this request

If you’re asking this bunch it has to be Pete or Russ.

:{)
Quit hating on Russell, it got to be Pete.

It is true that many anti Seahawk people would love for the team to fire Pete.

You must have put George Kittle in there because you don't like him, but how could you not like George Kittle?

Not sure I'd single out McVay or Shanahan, as typically in the past it's been an overall team hatred. We hated Harbaugh but we also hated Kapernick and Davis.

In my mind with Stafford now in LA coupled with a good defense he didn't have in Detroit and new vigor from the move, they could be very scary.

The Niners were decimated by injuries last year but when healthy they're tough.

Based on overall franchise success as the tie breaker I'll go with the Niners as my most hated.

Sharon Rodgers is just fun to hate on.
