Sherman fined 28K for hit on Lockett!!!

He told PFT that he got hit with PI 3x in the Cards game b/c the NFL was "targeting" him over his work with the union.

But as local radio has said, more likely these factors:

1) His reaction speed is just a tiny bit behind where it was, so he overcompensates to get the play.

2) There used to be more tolerance of helmet hits than there is now.

It looked to me like he was on the receiving end of the hit from Lockett. And he gets fined? That’s golden.

1. Gets mauled by DK
2. Gets hit by little Lockett
3. Gets fined for it

I think there is some truth to that...

Seahawks has been one of the most outspoken teams back then(-Lynch) & we got target for the most penalties. We lead with the most penalties combine for like 5 year span.

Now when all the outspoken player left or got traded, somehow we have less penalties? 2017 lead the league in penalties, 2018 ranked 16th. This year 19th.
