This is how the 26 drives that included one or more Seahawks sacks ended:
• One defensive TD (the aforementioned Clowney return)
• Six fumble recoveries
• One interception (Bradley McDougald)
• One end of game (27-10 win over Arizona, Week 4)
• One turnover on downs
• Two missed field goals
• Seven punts
• Seven field goals
What stands out to me?
Zero touchdowns.https://sports.mynorthwest.com/763030/w ... 9-defense/
Nice work iotuk, and very effective.
Do you have the same shot for how our drives ended when Russ was sacked?
I believe Dave Wyman is working on the 2nd part of his "Sackstravaganza" which deals with that specifically.
But Russell Wilson is a rare talent that can overcome a sack. Some of those sacks though are on him, some were on the decimated Tight End group
, some were on the decimated OLine,
some were on the decimated Running Backs
, and some, IMHO, were on the conservative playcalling early when it got us behind in the "schedule."
I believe that with a few tweeks, and some health tight ends, we can drastically cut his sacks in 2020.
