I was trying to figure out why last night and this morning felt so good as a Seahawks fan and I was thinking I can't remember the last time the Seahawks opened up a season and looked good. So I decided to check the history:

2014 -  36-16 WIN against GB
2015 -  34-31 LOSS OT against STL (Foles was still QB and no one outside the NFCW respected the Rams yet)
2016 - 12-10 WIN against Dolphins (Barely win against the Dolphins with pitiful offensive showing)
2017 - 17-9 LOSS against GB (Loss combined with a score that says the team couldn't get going on offense)
2018 - 27-24 LOSS against Denver (I don't remember this game, but a loss is a loss. I think O-Line was an issue)
2019 - 21-20 WIN against Cinci (barely win against worst team in the NFL in the home opener, didn't they miss a kick too?)
2020 - 38-25 WIN against ATL (ATL is a good team as of now and RW balled out in a road game at 10 am, a lot to be excited about as a Hawk fan)

The game was a lot more dominating than the score indicates. It was basically over in the 3rd quarter.

How often do we see games that don't come close to what the score shows? Pretty often actually. They were in control of that game.

Man it must be ptsd or something, I've blocked out a lot of those games.
