Good win

Tough day to play. Radio crew said it was like 98 degrees on the field with the humidity.

D wasn’t world-beating, but they toughened up when it was needed and held Miami to a single TD and a bunch of field goals.

The O struggled to play consistently today but still managed over 30 points.

4-0!

Our D did everything but take out the garbage.

No substantial injuries. East Coast 10AM win on the road with an injury ridden defense. Should have been an even greater margin of victory, but a great victory nonetheless. You need to take care of business against the teams you should, and we did just that.

Solid win vs an underrated east coast team. This team is massively depleted due to injury yet they played focused and got the W. Nice team win.

We struggle quite a bit in these early-season hot weather day road games. It’s great to see the team gut it out and go home 4-0.

Great game, go Hawks! Hopefully KJ Wright can come down with at least one of those 3 potential ints next time.

So, mid-80s, then?

Defense didn't go as bad as I feared today, Fitz didn't throw five TDs. Allowing under 25 points really isn't anything to be proud of, but given the previous weeks it's a welcome reprieve. But the offense only had two drives that were over five minutes, and that's just a feature of "Let Russ Cook".

It always felt like they were in the driver's seat, and that's an indication that they played pretty well.

Hopefully they'll smash Minnesota next week and can walk into the bye 5-0, it would be a great start to the season.

I love this thread for no other reason than there's no 'but...' in the title!

Seemed like we were inches from a big play all game, and the dam finally broke with a couple great catches by Moore and Metcalf breaking a tackle. KJ's two big pops sparked this defense when it was looking flat. Not sure what happened in the 4th quarter, but the YAC on D stopped and we didn't need last second heroics to put an opponent down.

Very happy to be 4-0 with no more injuries. If anyone is nicked up we can afford to rest them against Minnesota now as well.

Got a little worrying there in the 3d/early 4th quarters when we were trading punts for FGs, but as usual came through in the end. Miami came to play, especially on D. Good win. Taking care of business.

Yes! They were flying around! Knocked CC out it seemed?

Any time you fly across three time zones with the longest trip in the NFL and beat an NFL team you are doing something right.

10 in a row at 10am. I sure don't miss the days of seeing them lose those over and over again under Holmgren.

Really important thing was we showed we could play on grass.

Sometimes on grass we tend to lose a bit of our effectiveness.

Being able to be effective on grass was a big deal because it was a question mark going into this game.
