DK Metcalf. The stud. A legend in the making.

We've all seen his incredible 6 pack. His gravity defying pre game workouts. His trail blazing speed.

He's a first ballot hall of famer in the infancy stages of his career. He will go down as a top 5 receiver all time.
To prepare for this inevitability, I find it of the up most importance to get DK Metcalf a nickname, coined by the fans.

Calvin Johnson was "Megatron." Terrell Owens was "T.O." Jerry Rice was....dang it never mind that.

What nickname would you suggest for DK Metcalf? Or is DK a cool enough name to call him?

I was thinking "Kong"
That awful MNF announcer last season called him "Decaf Metcalf" which was funny.

I hear DK and the first thing I think of is Donkey Kong, but I don't think that's a good choice. Decaf is funny, but hardly accurate the way he bowls through people. Beast would be great if that weren't already taken. The dude is so huge, maybe Sasquatch?

Your guys’ corny suggestions is why nicknames have to be created organically.

He was called "the human 'Batman' suit" since the combine. Might as well call him 'Batman.'

DK sound fine to me, T.O. had some fleeting names that people sued on occasion also, but it was always T.O, so DK is fine, it stands on it's own also.

Batman... the Dark Knight? Correct initials, except it just doesn't have quite the right ring to it.

Not a big fan of these, but if I had to choose, I would go with Deke

Just to piss off all the people who are he isn't a good route runner.

And yes, I know it's too close to Zeke etc. That's not the point.
