David Irving

Hey what do you guys think about the Hawks going after David Irving since he's been reinstated?

We could use any help on defense if he's in shape. He's has good size and length, and could help on the pass
rush.

He would be a massive upgrade if he wants to be. We are at a point where we need to throw darts and his upside is huge. Look at what Aldon Smith is doing right now.

With the anticipated competition for a good pass rusher leading to a cost of $5M, where would the money come from?

He's exactly what is needed. A guy who can generate pressure in the middle and spell Reed on passing downs. This'll both add talent and keep everyone else fresher.

If he's ready to come in and give full effort, I think you have to try to lock him up.

Strange. Most players don’t become Raiders until after they’ve washed out with us.

I never said they were current. Have had a few recent ones like Irvin, Mayowa, Curry, and Lynch.
