Jason Myers Post: Updated- 37 for 37! THANK YOU JASON.

This guy is the Kicker we've been missing the past years. I'm not gonna start saying what if we had Myers instead of Walsh or Seabass. We cut this guy in 2018 for Seabass and now he's back kicking bombs :irishdrinkers: . This year he's been perfect with 12/12 (100%) field goals and only missed 2 extra points out of 38 (36/38).

It's great to show love for Adams , Dunlap , Wilson , Wagner and etc , but this guy made Pro Bowl last year and this year he's been the most consistent player in our squad. Hope he stays in Seattle for long time. Let's show him some love in his social media and appreciate it as long as he's a Seahawks.

It's easy to overlook STers that just do their damn jobs sometimes. Great thread.

Thank you mate. Jason is kicking dimes and we should recognize it. ST players play significant role even in Playoffs (remember Walsh)

On a team like our Hawks who FREQUENTLY win by the narrowest of margins, our FG kicker is worth every penny that they earn.

To think he missed an extra point and we are still happy with him means he is doing things right. The last couple of years if our kicker missed anything we were ready to cut him the next day.

That 61 yarder against LA was a thing of beauty.

21 or 22 in a row! Can't fault that.
He's missed 21 PAT in his career. Would have been really upset had we come up one point short at the end...but it's really a comfort knowing we have a guy we could send out to try for a game winner from practically anywhere.

Maybe they should move the extra point attempt to 61 yards since he’s 100% on those.

It's a big deal to not worry when your kicker comes in lol

Yes it was!!! I was confident he was gonna nail it too he’s been so clutch, we have a legit threat for a FG kicker.

This guy is CLUTCH !!! 11 pts from him in the Eagles game. 2/2 XP , 44 yard FG (longest in the game) , 39 yard FG and 33 yards FG. Another perfect game.

Game reminded me of around 2012, 2013 in SF. Phil Dawson single leggedly made that team a champ as opposed to an 8-8.

Myers is up there with him. In the contemporary NFL, maybe Justin Tucker (Baltimore) and Yongbyon Koo (Atlanta) are better. Tucker on longevity--he's been money for what, two or three years. Koo because he's been the only one I've seen in that period make a series of onside kicks successfully.

So...........bringing Blair Walsh back is out of the question?

If Myers gets injured or yip prone there's always the option of poaching Chase McLaughlin off the jags ps.

Congrats JM for setting a Seahawk record with 31 fgs straight. What a season for him!!!!
