For Christmas, you got a crystal ball. Congratulations!

You peer into the crystal ball, and ask "Where are Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson on January 1st, 2026?"

What does your crystal ball show you?

Pete has reached the epiphany of his career with the team heading into its NFCW title and Home Field Advantage thru the playoffs. The team is SB ready and will be taking on one of the winners of the wildcard games played in 2 weeks. His coaching philosophy has not wavered and it shows. He has said previously that this is his final season as Coach. And his players are showing the love for his upbeat Rah Rah attitude as they have decimated most teams this season by at least 8 points per game.

When asked by this reporter, he responded with "It has been a long haul and the 'Next Man Up' concept has resonated with the team. I think that we as a team have something to be proud of."

That is all....From Seattle Football Stadium...This is Fan80 signing off for EXPM.

Regardless with what happens till then,
I picked the bottom option.
PC is obviously done coaching by then
and RW is not getting another mega cap
blowing deal.
He is getting old and slow..I said this would
happen 2-3 years ago.
The injury streak will end at some point due
to losing speed or being slow.
I'm sorry that water he sells..Isn't going to save
him.
Remember we are talking 5yrs from now.

Pete retires. New HC wants his own QB. RW wants pass-happy offensive minded HC to get his career stats up so goes elsewhere.

I don't think Pete will be coaching but he may still be with the team in some capacity so the first option is possible & that was something I didn't take into consideration when I went for option #2.

I can't see the 3rd option happening no matter how many parallel universes are visited.

I see a chance #4 happens if Russ doesn't feel like leaving some money on the table next negotiations. I guess we're gonna see what a team looks like with a QB taking a inordinate slice of the cap when Mahome's extension kicks in & if it's even doable to field a top contender especially with a few others(DK) needing to also get paid. I'm guessing it's not.

Highly dependent on ownership situation. If same owner and we reached super bowl in these five years then both will still be around, Pete may not be the HC, a consultant? Wilson will still be the QB.

The Seahawks fan base everyone. Constantly disrespectful of their franchise QB, while other fanbases praise their QB. Makes you wonder why.

By the way, mobility hasn't been a big part of Russ' game for years. He's already transitioned to being a pass first QB and he gets out of the pocket just like Rodgers and Romo. Who weren't any faster.
