Remember when the experts panned the Bobby Wagner pick?

Been a great asset for us since his rookie year. One of the best out there. Always happy to see him get the respect he deserves.

I also noticed that both DK and Jamal were 2nd team too. Great having a few youngsters on this list as well.

I think this selection is undeserving. I would pick KJ Weights play over Bobbys this year!

Would be great if some search guru could come up with the posts of those who did not like the Bobby Wagner pick. See if any would like to retract their statements.

The fact that Ray Lewis only got his 7th in his 13th season, shows how special Wags is.

Do you think a team would be willing to give up a 2nd rounder for an all pro next season?

It pissed me off that the media kept saying he was the #1 LB in the league for his first several seasons. He had less help than Bobby which is why he was able to be more of "the guy", it was easier for him to pick up the slack of crappier teammates around him on defense. Less competition on his sides.

6 All Pro selections really is an incredible feat - less than 50 players in NFL history have achieved it.
Wagner only turned 30 this year also - I have no doubt he has at least 3-4 more years of elite level play in him and the possibility of further awards, particularly as LB isn't a position with any other obvious standouts.

On a separate note I see today's opponent Aaron Donald also achieved his 6th All Pro award in his 7th season. Given his elite level of play and conditioning I could honestly see him making a run for Jerry Rice/Jim Otto's record of 10 at this rate - though from a purely selfish standpoint I hope he forgets how to play or decides to retire ASAP
