IMO I think they work this out and he is here even beyond 2023 season

I agree. Starter in 2021, gone in 2022.

Hawks need to trade him because I seriously doubt he will sign another extension in Seattle given the current management structure, and losing him to free agency would be very foolish when you consider the potential return in a trade.
