Bears GM was also there along with Nagy. I think alot of people forget about LT Dillon Radunz whoplays for NDSU as well. He had a great Senior Bowl.

I'm sure Seattle was there for Radunz as well as Lance just like the Bears.

It has been reported that representatives from 30 teams have been in attendance.

Due diligence at work.

Three things:

1. John is doing his job as GM
2. Hawks are done with protecting and appeasing Russ' fear of competition.
3. We may actually need a QB latest by next year if not sooner.

#2 is a biggie, Pete's biggest failure in the past 8 years was kowtowing to Russell's fragile ego. One couldn't preach and subject every player to "Just Compete", while shielded Russ not only from any completion, but even criticisms. I don't think Pete initated that preferential treatment, he was talked, cried, or forced into it.

Nothing wrong with planning the succession. Although they'll probably draft a qb from a school you've never heard of not ranked to be drafted.

JS is there to see the OT- Radunz, and the QB is just a bonus.

He Also went to Josh Allen’s pro day a few years back.

Lance is the most John Schneider-y QB in this draft, but I doubt this means anything. He’s just doing his due diligence.

Russell Wilson is my all time favorite Seahawk of all times, nobody even runs a close 2nd, but having said that, when Pete cans Cable, Bevell, & now Schottenheimer, he's not making those moves to please anyone but Wilson.
I think Wilson believes that he should be Pete's side-kick, and should have equal authority in running the Offense.
Gimme my way, or I'm taking the ball home with me Russ should NEVER have agreed to a second Contract, KNOWING full well that Pete isn't just going to hand over the keys to the Seahawks franchise to him, nor should he.
If the damned train jumps the tracks, it's on the engineer.
Pete delivered a Lombardi to Paul Allen & the Seattle faithful when no one else seemed to be able to git-r-dun. :229031_shrug:

He’s a good young QB. Schneider should be scouting him and we’re going to need a QB really soon.

RW didn’t play well enough last year to be above competition. I’ve seen enough of his double reverse spin sack out of a perfectly clean pocket.

If only Pete and John had the balls to trade up and take Josh. The balls Bill Walsh had in signing Steve Young when he had Joe Montana!
