This deserves a bump.

Fans associate him with fullback, but that's really not what he's here for. He's a special teams ace akin to Heath Farwell, and he does that job very well.

He deserves the contract. Special teams aces like him play a big role in the field position battle and help prevent explosive special teams losses, which'll lose you a game right quick if there's a hole in your unit.

Special Teams was instrumental in making 2020 a successful campaign.

This is about the resigning of the special teams leader from a stellar 2020 team. It's a good omen for a back to back repeat in 2021.

The new Waldron offense will make itself better known in Seattle soon enough. Personnel deployment should be less of a tell with enough players that can line up in multiple positions. Assembling rosters and developing 2021 play books is a process.

Love Special Teams. They work a bit under the radar in the minds of most fans. When they strike with a big play, it's pure delight for this fan.
