The Seahawks’ patience drives a lot of fans loony.

They scream in frustration through the first, richest days of free agency as other teams spend...and Seattle waits. Again.

This is how the Seahawks do business.

  • If i've said it once i've said it a million times. The teams that win the first day of free agency wont be competing for super bowls. Those on here that were freaking out, I hope you remember this next year when the exact same thing happens again. And the year after that. and after that etc.

There have been some highly-prized FA signings that have played significant roles for championship teams too. You just can't expect to go out there and buy a Lombardi in March if you're going to tank the draft. Smart teams are selective, but are willing to take the right risks. I don't think the teams that signed Brady, Conklin, Bradberry, and Bulaga last year are regretting those deals right now.
