  • Who'd you take?

    I'd definitely pick Teven Jenkins.

  • In this draft, my preference would be to trade back as far into the 2nd as possible.

Rondale Moore, Landon Dickerson, Creed Humphrey, and Alex Leatherwood would be high up on my list in the range of 21-45.

EDIT: Didn't include him because he was already listed, but Teven Jenkins would be a strong consideration, along with Cosmi.

Do you have any players that fit the range that you have an opinion on?

  • Best available OT prospect, or trade down about 20 spots or so to get a third and take the best OT/OC still available. Use other 2nd round pick on another OT/OC or perhaps a WR. Not going to bother with names.

  • If Taylor comes on this year and performs OK for us I think you have to quantify last years draftees as a very strong class.
I'd hate to be a coach this year facing the draft. Just too much unknown/unproven. On the other hand that very thing might make for an opportunity to get some real steals picking late. Our staff has done a pretty decent job of that in the past. All I can do is watch and hope for the best. I do like what they've done with our roster pre-draft. Got no reason to think they'll suddenly fall off a deep end of ineptitude.

  • So if the Hawks had a 1sr rd. pick it’d be the 23rd pick. Frankly I’d trade back to acquire more picks, draft the best OT available, or the best player available. With the early picks hopefully a quality OT and OC reeulted.

Germain Ifedi is the real deal. Gotta go with him if he's stiff on the board.

You're just upset because you want the small school RB Rashaad Penny, and nobody has mentioned him yet. I'm sure PC/JS will make the right choice.

They're incapable of it, plain and simple. Admittedly, it's a good way for them to hide the lack of any solid football knowledge.

  • If they had a 1st round pick they would trade it to accumulate additional picks. Like almost every other year since JS/PC have been in charge.

What an original joke that totally wasn't already posted in this thread.

If you don't have a good reply, at least make the sh*tpost funny.

  • TF is happening to this thread?

Anyway to engage with the question, it can't be one name as you can't approach any pick with only one target.

  • Meh, it's like any other thread. It immediately becomes bashing back and forth. And half the time, it will somehow turn in to a Russ sucks or fire Pete thread.
But, on point with the thread. JS would trade down and build up more picks.

  • Kinda back on topic...

I'm taking Alex Leatherwood out of Alabama (OL)....

This assumes Alijah Vera Tucker (OL) is long gone, which he probably would be....

    That's me though....

Realistically, assuming the Hawks didn't trade back...gotta go with Zaven Collins out of Tulsa...pass rushing small school LB...seems to be what they are drawn to for better or worse.

  • After a quick look at players rated to go in the 3rd round I think they’d pick Kelvin Joseph, CB Kentucky with a first round pick.

I would choose Greg Newsome CB Northwestern if it were me

Based on immediate need this would be my guy unless Surtain or Horn inexplicably dropped
