Toivonen, who is 6-foot-4, 212 pounds, had 139 catches for 1,719 yards and 13 touchdowns in four seasons at North Dakota, including 48 catches for 684 yards and seven scores as a senior in 2019. He went undrafted in 2020, then earlier this year signed with the Fan Controlled Football League. Most recently Toivonen worked out at the University of Minnesota's Pro Day in April.

Additionally, defensive back Ryan Neal signed his exclusive rights tender on Tuesday.

Sounds intriguing as a prospect. Great size, at least. We'll see.

Nice to see Neal signed for now. He did well for us last year.

Sounds like a good prospect...
It'd be pretty cool if he could develop into a Cooper Kupp type player for this new offense!

I was giggling about him replacing Nick Googlehim, and his college film is kinda what you'd expect against DIII competition; but this kind of impressed me.

He's not fast, but he can high point a football!

If I had stumbled across a headline that said Seattle signs Toivonen I would have assumed the Kraken have been allowed to start signing free agents.
