Had been at the Cards since April and was recently cut. Now signed with the Seahawks after working out with them. Sean Mannion ex Rams QB also been here for a visit and a workout.

Speedy guy from the NCAA powerhouse that is Wayne State.

Roberson played collegiately at Wayne State and did not latch on with a team last season.

Roberson scored 10 total touchdowns as a senior in 2019 and caught 34 passes for 706 yards (20.8 yards per reception).

He also rushed 11 times for 118 yards and was heavily involved in special teams, handling both kick and punt return duties.

The receiver combined for 24 receiving touchdowns and two return scores in his four years at Wayne State.

He attended Florida Atlantic’s pro day on March 30 and measured in at 5-foot-9 and 168 pounds.

Roberson was clocked in the 40-yard dash at 4.35 seconds.

According to Bob Condotta the corresponding roster move is CB- Saivon Smith who will be waived.

Roberson is very fast 4.32-4.37 /40 and will get looked at as KR/PR? The team is adding lots of speed.

Think this is to get our CB situation figured out, learning klck step and transition to step for step coverage.

Best way to do it is have fast guys, you develop reaction speed based on really fast so anything else once you get there will seem easy since that person on paper is slower.

Nice thought Chris, I agree and it would appear that Saivon Smith wasn't getting it.

All in all the the depth at CB isn't all that special but there are some guys there that can play. Adding back Blair to the group should help as well.

Seems they're looking for guys to help on punt returns, meeting with Dede Westbrook now this guy. Eskridge only did kick returning in college

They need a solid 3rd option at receiver other than a TE .

Waldron making an impact with regards to the types of guys we're seeing come in for depth. Small, fast dudes.

Could also be a primarily ST move. They're really setting up a fierce competition for the returner spots.

Roberson is very fast and was a legit 10.7 /100 sprinter.

Most likely, but it is interesting that the team is determined to add speed. They seem to looking for a particular player.

Somewhat disappointing that WR- Eskridge has just been placed on PUP to start his career here. Now we can understand the team’s interest in other small fast WRs.
