Not sure he will be starting next game, that said, he wasn't targeted much in the second half?

No, we want you NOT to be horrible Trey. That is all.
Pete enables this type of unaccountability.

Yes we want Sherman, Shawn Springs, Terry Taylor, Dave Brown, any of them but Trey Flowers, if you have schematic issues why are you not adjusting them, it has been three games.

If you don't think you can step up and be like one of those past CB's you have no business playing CB, you don't have to be them, just want to get to that level, that means challenging receivers, thats your part of the field yet they own it when you are out there.

When everyone is horrible, it usually isn't the players.

Flowers has flaws, but that makes sense.

Flowers is not really a starter, he would normally be a decent backup db that is a good physical tackler.

Reed and Amadi sucked too. They all just got terrible at the same time?

Sounds a lot more like a problem with the driver than the car.

Most of this is just a terrible plan tied to incompetent tactics and deficient strategy.

That is on the coach, not Flowers.

It’s not an “either, or” situation, it’s a both situation.

Flowers was serviceable as a backup.

Last year, he wasn't great but he wasn't abjectly horrific.

This year, he is eye-searingly bad. Admittedly, his press conference answers did him no favors but he is literally getting worse year by year. That is unlikely.

What is likely is that our coaches are losing their ability to be effective. According to Twitter & Reddit, we had five (5!) total pass defenses in this game. One of those was Dunlap. If that is not an indication the coaches are either A) trying to lose on purpose for some reason or B) completely inept - not sure what is.

Flowers is a backup being not only forced into a starting role, but a starting role for a terrible coach with completely idiotic scheme trying to follow a moronic gameplan. His poor play is a symptom not the disease.

The disease is the limited ability and likely processing capacity of Ken Norton Jr. He isn't smart or capable enough to hold this job. And it is hurting every player, not just Flowers, but a player that is already overmatched will look worse...and he does.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but they have 5 total passed defended for the season, not the game. This scheme is pathetic. It's designed to not give up the big play, but not get off the field on 3rd down either, just bleed out, while the O rots on the bench.

The Legion of ROOM.

10 yards between defender & WR/TE/RB.

And 10 yards is being generous. Sometimes its 15-20.

Need to put that $hit on a t-shirt with Flowers, PC and KNJ face on it.

Apparently that is the scheme and it's being executed perfectly. Can you imagine watching the tape and then saying that with a straight face?

Tre is horrible but he's right. It is schematic. I know they missed Andre Curtis last game, but no one is putting them in the right positions to begin with.

Its so frustrating seeing the cushion all of them are giving the receivers. It seems like they don't know what press coverage is anymore. Its to easy when they are constantly always giving the receiver a 10 yard cushion.
