Have to believe they run the crap out of the ball the next two games as they did second half last night. Pete loves this style of play and that maybe even the plan for the rest of the year.

Well we saw in two straight games now that Geno can't be trusted to win you the game at the end, so yes the game plans going forward should be to run, run and run some more.

Geno can make some throws, but no gameplan should revolve around him throwing the ball 30+ times. We're finding out quickly why he's a backup. Poor decision making, poor awareness.

Running the ball is what opened things up for Geno to make the best of his throws last night, and he did make some good ones. Successfully running the ball is what got our guys fired up to make the good comeback they made. I don't understand why that wasn't the game plan to start the game, but I was only a player, never a football coach, so there's that.

Let's find the only thing we did well last night and bitch about that too. To be honest we were a better team when we ran the ball last year too.

Except they didn't adjust when the Steelers made their adjustments. They ran to set up the run into a line stacked to stop it.

What are they gonna do let Geno play Patrick Mahomes? They ran agaisnt a stacked front after the turnover on first down and got called for a hold after a huge gain. If they're gonna win with Geno they're gonna do it by running the ball .

Run Seattle, run.
Our OL was blowing Pitt off the LOS in the second half. This against a solid run D.

If you
Listened comming out of half time the seller coach expected the Hawks to pass. So they were not prepared for the run. Once they adjusted running went by by. The problem was once again wasted half of football.

Exactly! Even the announcers said when the Steelers moved to a 3-4 to a 5 man front there were no more "gifts" in the running game, and Gino beat us passing if you can.

They have no choice, Geno Smith is the QB. Running a lot and running some more is a good strategy with Geno under center. Limit Geno to 15-20 throws if you can, and run it 45 times if every thing goes swimmingly.

The next few opponents are planning for the Hawks to run the ball more . The Hawks are easy for defenses to prepare for; now more than ever .

Pete running the ball is about as big a revelation that the D will play soft zone and let them throw up the middle til the cows come home and hope for a last minute miracle and....oh what's the point anymore?
